My 8 random facts
1) I finished my undergraduate degree at Tabor College, a liberal arts college affiliated with the Mennonite Bretheren, after having begun my undergraduate work at Wichita State University. I then earned my Master of Divinity at Phillips Theological Seminary.
2) This past February I won an all expense paid trip to Super Bowl XLI. I got round trip airfare, hotel on South Beach, tickets, and private celebrity events all on Visa's dollar. Here's a link to the local news story: http://www.kotv.com/e-clips/?id=4665
3) I used to play the saxophone. In fact, when I began college I did so on a music scholarship.
4) I am a huge Kansas Jayhawks fan. In fact, televisions in my house have been known to spontaneously combust during the month of March.
5) I have been to 8 foreign countries and 22 US states.
6) In High School I graduated 3rd in my class (of 23 students).
7) I have owned an '86 Honda Civic, a '79 Chevy Fullsize Pickup, a '74 Mercury Cougar, an '86 Olds Calais, an '84 BMW 318i, a '96 Honda Civic, a '97 Chevy S-10, a '92 Cadillac DeVille, an '00 Saturn LS, a '94 Mercury Villager, a '95 Pontiac Bonneville, an '02 Pontiac Montana, and an '02 Ford F-150, all in 15 years!

Hey, took me long enough to finally post my response to this on my blog. Here are my answers:
1) I love robots, which explains why my desk at home is still flanked by the toy robots I was given as a kid. (Oh, and yes -- the robot pic above is my own creation).
2) I was one of the founders of the first ever outdoor free Shakespeare festival in the state of Missouri.
3) I am a recovering Trekkie.
4) I have a twin brother, and he is one of nine siblings in my family.
5) When I find something I like to eat in a restaurant, I tend to order it (and only it) every time I go there and the restaurants I eat at are almost exclusively ethnic (Indian, Greek, Mexican, Asian).
6) I am the third generation of pastors in my family (and one of my older brothers is also a pastor).
7) I have never had a broken bone (or ever had to stay in the hospital).
8) My current TV show obessions are The Wire, Battlestar Galactica, and Prison Break.
